Old Fashioned Bread Pudding

Ingredients

12 oz Evaporated Milk

12 oz water

4 Eggs

1 cup Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

2 Tbs Melted Butter

16 slices white bread

1/2 cup Raisins

DIRECTIONS

1. Cut the bread into 1 inch cubes. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan.

2. If using raisins sprinkle over the bread cubes.

3.In a large bowl, stir together the evaporated milk, water, eggs, vanilla,sugar, butter and cinnamon until uniform.

4. Pour custard over bread crumbs in pan. Soak for 15-30 minutes or cover and refrigerate  for up to 24 hours before baking.

5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 35-45 mintes.

6. Serve warm or at room temperature. Sprinkle with sugar and powdered sugar. Refrigerate leftovers.

  • INGREDIENTS

1 pound Ground Beef

1 to 2 cups Fresh Grated Cheddar Cheese

1/4 cup Chopped Onion

1 package Taco Seasoning

1- 14oz Diced Tomatoes 

2 to 3 Chopped Garlic Cloves

2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro

8oz Spaghetti pasta 2 cups Beef Broth

  Now let's put together this one pot meal. I'm going to saute my onions, and garlic in olive oil. I'm adding my left over taco meat, taco seasoning, can of diced tomatoes. I'm breaking my spaghetti in half and adding 2 cups of beef broth. If the broth does not cover the spaghetti then add a little water. My spaghetti is completely submerged. Cover it up. Reduce the heat to low. Let it cook for 12 to 15 minutes. Bring it to a boil. Stir occasionally during this time. After 15 minutes allow it to continue to cook without the lid. Next? I'm adding freshly grated cheese on top. I like the way the freshly grated cheese melts. Here's a little fresh parsley for color. There you have it. Taco Spaghetti. Blueberry Cake

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour spooned and leveled
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter at room temperature

  • ½ cup whole milk at room temperature
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries + 1 tablespoon flour for tossing

Streusel Topping

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  •  cup brown sugar

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

Blueberry Cake:

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F. Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream sugar and butter together until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Add the egg and mix until combined.
  • Add the flour mixture and milk in alternating additions, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined, be careful not to overmix here.
  • Coat the blueberries with 1 tablespoon flour and gently fold them into the batter. Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan (it will be thick).

Streusel Topping:

  • In a bowl, cut the butter and other ingredients together with a fork until it becomes crumbly. Sprinkle evenly on top of the cake.
  • Bake the cake at 375° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, and then remove it to a wire cooling rack.

Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. 🍝💧
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, grated Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, and chopped parsley. 🥗🍅🥒🧀🌿

Add half of the strawberries, half of the syrup and a tablespoon of vanilla to the blender.Blend. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a freezer safe container and freeze for 6 to 8 hours. INGREDIENTS

Lemon Blueberry Cake

  • 2⅓ cups (295 g) flour - regular, all purpose
  • ¼ cup (30 g) cornstarch
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp (86 g) unsalted butter - room temperature
  • ¾ cup (141 g) unflavoured vegetable oil - I use canola oil
  • 1⅔ cups (333 g) white granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs - room temperature
  • 2 tbsp (26 g) milk - room temperature
  • ¾ cup (185 g) yoghurt - plain, unsweetened, room temperature
  • ¼ cup (55 g) fresh lemon juice
  •  cups (250 g) fresh blueberries - see note 3 if you want to use frozen blueberries. Coat the blueberries in 1 to 2 tbsp of flour

 

Lemon Blueberry Cake

    • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 8 inch cake tins, lining the bottoms with parchment paper as well as this cake tends to stick to the bottom.
    • Sift together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix together using a whisk and set aside.
    • In a large bowl add in butter, vegetable oil, sugar. Using a hand or stand mixer on a medium speed, cream together for 3 minutes until light and creamy.
    • Add in the eggs one by one, mixing well in between addition.
    • Add in milk, yogurt and lemon juice. Mix until well combined. Now set your mixer aside as the remainder of the batter will be finished by hand.
    • Add your pre-sifted dry ingredients to your wet mixture, and using a spatula, fold together until just combined. Do not overmix.
    • To finish off, toss the blueberries in a tablespoon of flour (this will prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the cake layers) and then add the blueberries to the batter, discarding any left over flour, and fold them in with a spatula until just combined. Again try not to overmix it.
    • Distribute the batter evenly into the two 8 inch cake tins. Try to distribute the blueberries evenly so that you have some on the top of the cake as well. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Once baked, allow the cake layers to cool in the cake tins for about 20 minutes and then carefully turn them out onto a wire rack to completely cool. The cake layers are soft and delicate, so handle them carefully. Frost with the lemon cream cheese frosting

 

FROSTING

  • 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter - room temp
  •  cups (570 g) powdered sugar - also known as confectioners/icing sugar. Use more for a thicker frosting (see note 1)
  •  cups (335 g) cream cheese - cold, firm type (see note 2)
  •  tsp vanilla essence/extract
  •  tbsp lemon juice - must be fresh
  • To a large bowl add in unsalted butter and using an electric mixer (hand or stand mixer are both fine - use the paddle attachment if using a stand mixer) cream for a few minutes on a medium high speed until it's light and fluffy.
  • Add in the powdered sugar in 3 batches while mixing on low. Ensure that each batch of powdered sugar is mixed into the butter well before adding in the next batch.
  • Next add in your cold cream cheese, vanilla and fresh lemon juice and mix on a medium speed just until the frosting is smooth. Avoid over-mixing  If using a stand mixer, you may need to mix on a high speed to get everything nice and smooth

Tender chicken breast, crunchy cabbage, and colorful bell peppers are stir-fried with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. The addition of oyster sauce and green onions brings a fragrant, authentic touch to this delicious, low-carb meal.

 

Chinese Chicken Cabbage Stir-Fry
**Ingredients:**
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion, sliced
  3 green onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1/2 jalapeño pepper, finely diced
- 1 orange pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of salt and pepper, to taste
**Instructions:**
**Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients**
1. Thinly slice the chicken breasts into strips.
2. Slice the onion and orange pepper, mince the garlic, and finely dice the jalapeño pepper.
3. Shred the green cabbage.
**Step 2: Cook the Chicken**
1. In a large skillet or wok, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
2. Add the sliced chicken breasts to the skillet and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
3. Stir-fry the chicken until it is cooked through and lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Transfer the cooked chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
**Step 3: Sauté the Vegetables**
1. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and cook until it begins to soften, about 3 minutes.
2. Add the minced garlic and diced jalapeño pepper, and cook for another minute, stirring frequently.
3. Add the shredded cabbage and diced orange pepper to the skillet.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and stir to combine.
**Step 4: Add the Sauces**
1. Add the oyster sauce and soy sauce to the skillet, stirring well to ensure the vegetables are evenly coated.
2. Continue to cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
**Step 5: Combine and Serve**
1. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, mixing it with the vegetables and sauce.
2. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the chicken through and allow the flavors to meld together.
3. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
**Step 6: Serve**
1. Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish.
2. Serve hot, either on its own or over a bed of steamed rice or noodles.

1/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

1Tbs Seasoning salt

2 Tbs margarine

2 Tbs flour

2 jalapenos sliced

Directions:
In a large pot, sauté the jalapeños, onion, and garlic in a bit of oil over medium heat until softened.
Add the chicken broth, cooked chicken, cream cheese, heavy cream, salt, pepper, oregano, seasoning salt, and margarine. Bring to a boil. Remove some of the liquid with a ladle. Whisk in 2 Tablespoons of flour. Return it to the pot. Reduce the heat. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the soup is heated through.Small lumps of cream cheese  Add cheese, bacon and sliced jalapeños.  
Serve hot, garnished with crumbled bacon and fresh slice jalapeños.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup butter (at room temperature)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg  (at room temperature)
  • 1 teaspopon almond extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

 

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars with electric beaters for 2 minutes. Beat in the egg and vanilla.

  • Add the flour mixture and beat on low speed just until combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips.

  • Use a medium-sized cookie scoop (about 2 tablespoons) to portion the dough into 18 cookies. Press the tops of the cookies down slightly then bake them in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the bottoms are very lightly browned.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
